Honeymoon Living: Put down the limits. Pick up the hope. Happy Anniversary!

When the son of man comes, will he find faith on the earth? This question was posed by Jesus in Luke 18:8 in the parable of the persistent widow.

Parable of the Persistent Widow…7now, will not God bring about justice for His elect who cry to Him day and night, and will He delay long over them? 8"I tell you that He will bring about justice for them quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?" (NASB)

The passage's context is about believing that God truly answers prayer, however, will believing people stay believing in God's loving attentiveness no matter how people around them increase in disbelieving God, His goodness or anything about Him. Is it possible that the question can apply to marriage, or a genuine contentment in a singles life? Will people believe in a satisfying marriage (from God's design) or living a satisfied singles life with God no matter what the Supreme Court or anyone else says about what is marriage or how to live in it with a happy satisfaction and yet keep it holy?

This week is our anniversary celebration week and we still believe God's designed marriage is the absolute best invention God made and it was God's intention for it to be the greatest good to humanity for those called to marry. We celebrate our anniversary year and share our hope with you!

We understand there may be pain in your past but we will pray and believe that God can wipe away all your tears from the past and believe again, fully. We go further and share an excerpt of a prayer for bringing back hope and faith in your marriage or singles life. This prayer is in chapter 12 of The Power Of A Honeymoon Marriage: Discover the authentic blueprint for planning, preparing and sustaining happily-ever-after.

Lord God Almighty, right now, we lift up to You every shattered heart, every broken marriage, and every impossible marriage situation. We ask, Father, that your peace would come upon each person in desperate need of a breakthrough. Lord, in Matthew 21:21, your word says that we can speak to the mountains, and they shall be moved, so we speak to those mountains to be moved right now. We speak to every couple in disunity, we speak to every spouse who is cheating in thought or action, and we ask your Holy Spirit to blow over each one of those circumstances and move them. Let their hearts be wrecked with conviction and repentance. Let there be a mighty wave of restoration that crashes upon those marriages. We speak to every lost spouse, every spouse who does not claim You as their Lord and Savior, and we ask You to move them. We bind up the lies of the enemy and ask that he (the already-defeated enemy) would fall into his own traps. We liberate your truth into the lives of those who don’t know You and ask that their hearts would be softened by the extravagant love their spouse has shown them. We ask for the transformation of their lives that they would radically abandon themselves to You and invite You into their lives as their Lord, Savior, and first love.

We speak to every person reading this who does not know You, or who is struggling in their relationship with You, or who needs an increasing desire to know You; move them, Father. We ask that they would answer your call and invite You to be the Lord and Savior of their lives, saying, “Lord, I need You. I need your guidance and help. Please wash me of my sins, remove every filthy thing from my life, burn out of me whatever You need to remove. I release control of my life to You. I invite You, Jesus Christ, to be the Lord and Savior of my life in a fresh way, in a deeper way. I invite your Holy Spirit to fill me now.”

We speak to every broken heart, every heart that is crushed, move them with life and bring healing to them. We declare hope and healing on their souls that they would be filled supernaturally with the restoration of the Holy Spirit. We speak to every situation and heart that needs restoring, every marriage that needs healing, and every need, spoken and unspoken, that needs filling, and invite your Holy Spirt to do a mighty work in those places. We bless every couple and every person who has a desire to see their marriage grow in unity, connectedness, honor, fun, and passion. We declare the fullness of what You intended for marriage to take place in their lives and marriage. Wherever there are any roots of doubt or hidden issues that would suppress the growth of honeymoon love, we ask You to uproot them. We agree and declare the growth of ever-increasing honeymoon love over your marriage or future marriage.

We bless all the single people reading this book, Lord. You know every desire of their hearts, You know every struggle, You know the tears they have cried, and You know exactly where they are. Singles (and married folks, whatever applies to you, you can receive, too), we bless you from the top of your head to the bottom of your feet. We declare restoration over you. We declare the fullness of God’s promises over your life. We ask God to encompass you radically with His power. We declare a supernatural growth of faith over you. We attack by the power of the blood of the Lamb every spirit that would attack or hold you back from living fully in the power that God designed you to live in. We ask the Holy Spirit to come and fill those places now. We impart the gift of purity to you. We declare over you a rededication of purity and spiritual (and even physical) restoration of virginity. We declare over you endurance with grace and ease. We pray for your future spouses, that God would do in them what He needs to accomplish and that He would bring you together in His perfect timing. We combat unneeded delays and heartbreaks; we pray against discouragement that would attack you. We declare the hope and truth of heaven over you. We pray that you would burn with desire for a powerful indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

Receive the blessings of the Lord, and walk forth in power and unity with the Spirit of God. Heaven blesses you and declares over you that you are not forgotten. The King of kings chooses you. He holds you, and He is faithful to His promises and will complete the good work that He started in you.

We seal this prayer with the blood of Jesus of Christ. Amen.
